A campground on the outskirts of Ipswich that we had not tried before the Allawah SCout Camp offers camping to the public and has powered and unpowered areas, showers and toilets with water available to fill your tanks as needed. We opted for unpowered as we have been running on solar only now since October. Due partly to Covid regulations and to their long term policy of keeping it uncrowded we had a large area of terrace to ourselves overlooking the river. A great spot at $20 per night but is very busy most weekends and we were lucky to get in for more than the mid week period. We will definitely be using this again.
