Leaving Potters Gorge, after a great but short weekend, our next stop is Busselton on the shores of Geographe Bay. One of the South West’s popular coastal getaways it is only a 3 hour drive from Perth and is only 50km from Margaret River or even less from the Yallingup Caves district so provides a good base for those wanting to explore the region. For us it was a fairly quiet 5 days with a walk along the famous Busselton Jetty followed by breakfast at “The Goose”, a couple of walks along the foreshore and around the town centre.
We stayed until the Saturday morning in order for Frances to do the local Parkrun at which Keith took the photographs for the event. A new PB of 26:30 !!
