During our previous two visits, we didn’t get to the Museum of the Goldfields, part of WA Museums. This time we took advantage of cooler day, 30 max after a long run of 38 plus, and took in the Museum and a walk along Hannan Street.
The Poppet Head which towers over the Museum entrance and building was donated to the Museum and relocated from its last working location when the mine was absorbed into the Super Pit.
