A 35km drive from Mingenew, the Coalseam Conservation Area is managed by the DBCA (Parks and WIldlife) with 2 Campgrounds available. We were originally going to stay here but had a water pump failure just out of Perth so have no access to our onboard water until it’s replaced.

Adjacent to the main (Miners) campground is the start of a walking trail through the carpet of lowers and up the escarpment to a loop and return; we clocked up 4.25km over about 2 hrs 15 with lots of pictures and a few insect finds for Frances as well.
