Yesterday was the Perth Running Festival and Frances’ entry in the half marathon; a great result with a time of 2h04m and first in the 70 to 74 female age group, in fact fastest female over 65!
A surprise was our Grand-daughter Abi, being brought over from Brisbane by her Aunty Renee to run the 4km and surprise Grandma at the end.

With 4800 runners the half-marathon Start was to say the least, crowded and finding a single runner almost impossible, here is a screen grab from the livestream and my shot from behind as Frances passed me and tapped me on the shoulder!
I did manage to find her in one shot on the freeway about 6km after the start with another general view of the field here as they passed beneath us:
