A town we only passed through before Collie has a lot to offer the visitor; being another mountain bike centre there are trails for both biking and walking all around the area including along the Collie River with about 20km of walking paths on both sides. See the next posts for our walks.
Collie also has a weekly Parkrun and arriving on a Friday fitted in nicely for Saturday morning; Frances ran a good time in the 28 minute area considering the ramps to cross the river; Keith was welcomed as a photographer for the event.
The only caravan park here is located on the hill close to town with bushland adjacent.
