Our final long walk around Collie was just out of town, starting and finishing at the Cemetery it covers part of the Westralia Conservation Park, a large tract of natural bushland and forest to the West of Collie. The area also includes mountain bike trails and this walk is tagged in some references as the “Orchid Walk” – we did find one still in flower, just in the first kilometre. The area is also home to the Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo as at the top.
