Moving on from Donnybrook, after our maximum allowed 3 days, we were heading for Wright’s Bridge Campground and along the way stopped at the old Balingup Racecourse for a bushwalk. There are four designated trails in here and using Alltrails as our partial guide ended up doing a combination of the Possum Tree Walk and the Emu Walk, a total of just 2.5km.
The picnic area here is only about 150m from the road and required reversing to turn around but with plenty of space. After our walk we had a light lunch under the trees before travelling the final 15km to our destination.
