The most Westerly of the Karijini Gorges, Hamersley lies at the northwestern extremity of the National Park, accessed from the Wittenoom Road. For us, leaving the Eco Retreat, was just a 3km detour off our route to the Chichester Millstream National Park and our next campground.
A good sealed road and turning loop with parking for caravans made for easy access to the walking trail.
The walk here is realtively short and descends easily into the Gorge; before leaving we also climbed the short track to a lookout above the car park and Gorge
