May 13 to June 21, 2026
In order to have a bit more of a “wind down” after Frances’ urgent and unexpected trip to the UK we came back to Mandurah for another 5+ weeks before continuing on our planned, and altered, 2026 travels. This time we had a very sheltered site in the corner of the park.
During this period we went to parkrun every Saturday with the weather slowly getting colder and early mornings not being so attractive at single-digit temperatures, requiring jackets and beanies; it did have its moments, including roos crossing the start area just before the off:

Apart from our regular daily walks around the centre of Mandurah, we drove to the Southern side for 3 specific walks with photo galleries behind each image, just click or tap.
First was a walk at Halls Head from the parking area along the coast to the location of the Santi Ikto Giant which we had visited in 2024.
Second was the Osprey Walk which terminates at the Boundary Island Brewery and Restaurant, later followed by the walk through the Len Howard Conservation park terminating at the brewery from the other side.
