We chose to walk to the beach, a round trip of 5.9km including a small detour to seek an alternative path that wasn’t there.

From the vantage of the sand dunes you can clearly see Bunbury from here and the waiting bulk carriers anchored offshore:
With the benefit of a telephoto lens a stranded van could be seen along the shoreline but a 4wd ute driver eventually manged to pull him free:
