Once again we stayed at the Broken Hill racecourse, a little different from our last visit when their numbers were severely restricted. Plenty of space now with numbered and very wide sites. We opted for unpowered which is an area at the Eastern end and a good view from trackside of the surrounding area including these Emus crossing the infield.
Despite it being mid Autumn it was still very busy and almost full some nights here; on the Saturday Frances did the local Parkrun and due to a local car club event was at an alternative course which is not “official” and a short drive away off the Silverton Road; the original course starts right next to the Racesourse Caravan Park.
