Last time in Busselton we walked the famous 1.84km Jetty so this time we took the train ride; all run by a volunteer organisation to keep the jetty going the ride is $17 for adults and lasts 45 minutes with 15 minutes at the end.
Fortunately, the weather held out for our 11am departure, the rain coming in as we finished our run. This is the 4th incarnation of the train and is totally solar powered with a bank of Lithium batteries and solar panels on every carriage. The “Locomotive” has road wheels which it lifts onto to turn it around and change ends at the jetty and the outer end
