We needed a couple of nights closer to Perth to return to our booking at the Crystal Brook Caravan Park for the next 4 months adn Cervantes was a perfect distance, allowing us to get there around lunchtime.
On our way North we were unable to travel through this area as Indian Ocean Drive was undergoing major roadworks and sections wre closed to through traffic so it was also an opportunity to travel another different route. Cervates has only the RAC Holiday Park so here we are…
We managed a walk each of our 2 days here, taking in the foreshore and headland first after our arrival, and then, next day, walking to Lake Thetis, the home of another incidence of Stromatolites, which we also saw near Mandurah last year. Click each map for the photo galleries:
