Dampier has only a small, 72 hour community caravan park but at least it is opposite the harbour foreshore whereas nearby Karratha’s parks are “landlocked” near the industrial area. While not being beach Frances was still able to do some shell hunting among the rocks here.
Being at the end of the townsite the Park is close to the gas plant and the iron ore and CNG loading facilities with a constant turn around of ships loading.

Being here on a Saturday of course took us to the local Parkrun, a change this time being part trail and beach running:
