Another mining town that came and went in a short period. Nothing of the town remains except piles of bricks and rubble but the local mine is once again in operation.

The cemetery, 2km from the townsite, was well worth a visit with well identified graves and markers.

The sadness of life on the Goldfields is truly reflected in the numbers of children buried here and very few deaths from natural causes. Among the causes of death are Suicide by Strychnine, Suicide by Gelignite, Oneumonia, Wagon Accident, Murder, DRowning, Buried under Slime .. and Alcohol ..
