This walk is titled the Woodland Walk in some descriptions but is in fact the Lol Gray Trail . As the whole route is 12.5km we completed it in the two halves on separate days about a week apart.
The common point is where the trail intersects the Wandering-Narrogin Road and each section is very different showing the diversity of the Dryandra Woodland.

These images are the first walking from and to the Lions Dryandra Village, we deviated slightly from their route to take in more of the shorter Kawana Walk near the Village :

… and the second half starting from the Lol Gray Picnic area and the old Lol Gray Fire tower; Lol Gray was a shepherd and sandalwood cutter who emigrated from England in the early 1800s. His name survives as a soak he excavated just north of Dryandra, an adjacent early school and the general district.

Still lots of flowers out in this section, particularly on the plateau on the Northern side.
