The Ochre Trail in Dryandra is also referred to as the Firetower Trail in part as it passes by the now-demolished Fire Tower site that was in use when Keith lived in Dryandra in 1976/7. This is at the bottom of the recorded trail on the amp.
A stated 5km we clocked up over 5.5 via our Garmin watches.
This is an interesting loop trail that passes over some of the highest points in the Forest and along the Southern edge with views over the adjoining farmland towards Cuballing and Narrogin.
