Dempster Head is the headland that dominates the Western side of the Esperance Bay and overlooks the town and ocean. An elevated lookout can be accessed by road or is a 1.4km uphill walk from our caravan site; we chose to drive as we had already walked the main hill to West Beach the previous day. This left us fresh to tackle the walking trails around the hill, first taking the South Western side loop trail anti clockwise, and then going out and back on the Lovers Cove walk.
