Needing to return to Ipswich area for a couple of medical appointments for Keith we travelled back via a couple of days each at the RV stops in Gatton and Laidley both of which are free camping areas. Gatton (at left) we have stayed at before situated on the bank above Lockyer Creek.
Laidley has a relatively new RV stop on the banks of Narda Lagoon at the Eastern end of the town. There are toilet facilities here but nothing else. A walking track takes you around both sections of the lagoon where there are ducks, turtles and Darters, all pictured here.
