March 16-19, 2018
Returning to Laura and Glen’s property at Glen Davis always reminds you how magnificent this valley is. There is no wonder that the Capertee Valley is one of the most painted in Australian art. From the morning mists to the late afternoon reddening of the cliffs it is truly awe inspiring.
This time we set up camp in the open paddock with a full view down the valley (last time we camped close to the tree line on the Southern side) and shared the space with a few head of cattle being agisted here. They are free to roam the whole property at present (except the veggie patch!) and wandered by on our first night, succeeding in re-aligning the Satellite Dish! They returned before we left on Monday morning for another look at us.
A few more pictures; don’t think I need to say any more!
As the sun sets we say farewell again until next time!
