From Mt Elizabeth, in order to have enough fuel, we had to detour to Drysdale River Station, 56km up the Kalumburu Road (our most expensive fuel ever at $2.90/litre). Returning towards the Gibb River Road we stopped for the night at the Gibb River itself and a free camp along the river bank.
Water not very deep across the floodway and a lot of birdlife around here:
