Harding’s Paddock is a part of the Flinders Goolman Conservation reserve managed by Ipswich City Council; the “Paddock” comprises a day use picnic/bbq area with several shelters, a set of horse yards and a camping area, a new Community Hall is currently being constructed.
The Reserve has several walking trails and is the Ipswich end of the Boonah to Ipswich Horse riding trail.
The camping area has 8 individual sites, all with room for any reasonable size caravan or camper and picnic table; a large central area has a fire pit and cage for firewood (bring your own). There are flushing toilets, a shower stall structure for hanging your own camping shower, and a very basic camp kitchen area. There is limited or no non potable water. Access is by a coded padlock for which the code is provided with a booking confirmation; fees are $13 per site per night and being only 11km from Yamanto is the closest real “budget” campground to Ipswich and this side of Brisbane
