Brady’s Lake, like the others is almost adjacent to the Lyell Highway and has two campgrounds along this shoreline. The “main” campground is adjacent to the boat ramp and can be seen in one of the images. This, the second area, is located alongside a slalom course created as part of the channel which feeds water from Bronte lagoon into Brady’s Lake.
This channel is fully set up for competitive Slalom events with a starting platform and an area along the lake shore for retrieval. There is a lot of camping space here but no facilities.
The Slalom Course starts a short distance from the Lyell Highway bridge and exits under a footbridge into Brady’s Lake.

Leaving Brady’s we passed by the end of Bronte Lagoon; an adjacent memorial marks that this is the geographical Centre of Tasmania.
