At 627,422 hectares (1,550,390 acres), Karijini is the second largest national park in Western Australia and offers a choice of accommodation at Dales Campground or the Karijini Eco Retreat (Formerly Savannah Campground). We stayed at both, but many visitors stay outside the park and travel in to the Gorges being around 40km to Tom Price from the Southern Park Entrance.
Karijini has many Gorges to explore and we managed to visit or walk all of them, some more challenging than others; we started by camping at Dales for 3 nights and did all of the 3 walks to Dales Gorge that extend from the Campground.
