The Living Desert State Park is a 2400ha reserve which was established in 1992 and managed by the Broken Hill City Council. At the Eastern side is a 3km loop walking trail established in 1983 before the formation of the Living Desert; it was rejuvenated in 2018 by a team of volunteers and is well signed with a n information brochure identifying various local plants and features as you walk around. It is a Category 4 walk with several steep climbs. The photo gallery takes you around the loop.
