For our second “walk of the day” we decided to tackle the hill between Lucky Bay and Rossiter Bay. This can be done from the Rossiter Bay end to the Lucky Bay Beach making a return walk of around 8.25km; however, Rossiter Bay Road was closed for maintenance so the option was to walk the length of Lucky Bay beach, a distance of around 2.75km (and back). Having to take this option we decided to walk to the top of Mississippi Hill along the route which is the point where you can see Rossiter Bay below; this gave us a total walk distance of 11.5km.
