Sometime while at Rainbow Reserve I managed to slightly displace my back having got away without any real back problems in our travels to date! After leaving Goondiwindi it became clear that some treatment was needed so we headed for Moree and the Showgrounds.
North Star Road Rest Area: Along the way, because of all the things we had to do in Goondi, we stopped at the North Star Road Rest Area for the night. This one is shared with trucks, as most highway ones are and this one is particularly busy.
Goondiwindi Showgrounds turned out to be on the edge of town centre with lots of room but not very many taps where there are power boxes? Anyway there were only half a dozen of us here so plenty of room. The Showgrounds has some really old buildings and some nice treelined driveway areas. At the back is a walking path along the Mehi River to take you into town.
The Chiropractor I found was very good but a full consultation and two treatments did hit the budget for $250! All he wanted to talk about was caravanning as he really wants to retire early and hit the road! Turns out he already has a Jayco camper used for short holidays and weekends and a recently bought Isuzu D-Max.
Anyway, after 3 days here we hit the road again bound for the Pilliga Forests.
