Another of the South West’s small communities which has embraced tourism with the development of Mountain Bike Trails and proudly declares itself as halfway along the Mund Biddi Trail (the cycling trail that extends from Perth to Albany).
Nannup has a caravan park sitting above the Blackwood River with a secondary location a short distance away at the “Riverbend Campground”. Being the last weekend of school holidays it is relatively busy here with the Mountian Bike Trails a main attraction for the adults and children.
In the town is a walking trail along a section of the Blackwood River which we took to today and returned via a coffee in town at the Deli, a total of 6km.
