The Granite Trail, as the name implies, takes in the lower slopes of the Foxes Lair hillside and passes by many large granite boulders. The trail passes through the Arboretum Picnic Area where over 250 species of trees and shrubs have been planted with an online guide available as every specimen is numbered.
The actual trail is the entire bottom loop on this map record of our walk, done in an anti-clockwise direction.
