After 2 nights in the Menzies Caravan Park we re-commenced our journey Northwards with our first stop at Niagara Dam, A visitor area and large campground with two toilets and rubbish bins provides lots of space at this dam which was never a success in its day. A small amount of water sits at the bottom with evidence of recent visits by wandering cattle and a small number of local birds.

With daytime maximums hitting the mid 40s we took a slow stroll to the dam and around the bottom of on arrival and waited for the next morning to tackle the double loop walking trial of 3.5km
