Saturday was Parkrun day as usual where we are close to one, this one busier than recently with over 100 runners and walkers, although no slow walkers here, everyone back in 45 minutes. Frances came in just under 27 minutes and Keith again did their photography.
In the afternoon we decided on a walk around the area behind the Caravan Park to the Broadwater; this is part of an extensive wetlands system that lies inland from Busselton in general as can be seen here in this map extract. The Broadwater Reserve is only accessible along parts of this Northern boundary which we followed as closely as is possible.
An interesting find along the way, and close to the Caravan Park, was the abandoned Drive-In, apparently closed in 2015 with plans for a retirement village on the site which has not yet progressed.
