We arrived here in the Pemberton Caravan Park on Saturday in light rain but it has since been mostly fine and provided some good walking opportunities.
After our arrival we took a short stroll past the local swimming pool and along a short section of the Bibbulmun Track to the water research centre (and Trout hatchery) and past the local Sportsground bringing up around 2.3km
The Caravan park here is Community owned and spacious with a mix of smaller sites for tents and campers and several long sites for lengthier rigs like ours, plus two amenities blocks, a camp kitchen and a laundry. There are apparently Quokkas in the bush behind us but not as yet sighted although the Ducks are somewhat friendly and looking for a free feed.
