Our last stop before Perth, the small town of Tammin offers low cost camping at the Sports ground; $5 unpowered or $10 with power. We were the only ones there for our one night and parked up alongside the oval.
Tammin is dominated by the Silos as is every town throughout the Wheat Belt; unfortunately there isn’t much “town” left in operation. The roadhouse, a mobile tyre service and the Post Office are all that remains; the Hotel is closed as are any remaining small shops.
