From the Caravan Parks and hotel, a heritage trail leads the walker along a meandering path which at times follows the old and new highways and at others the banks of Timber Creek itself. The end of the trail is the old Police Station, now a museum with a volunteer caretaker and much memorabilia. A total of almost 8km return and a fairly hot day.
