Top: Over the town from Mount Nameless
Leaving Karijini, but still to visit Hamersley Gorge, we stayed 3 days at the spacious Tom Price Caravan Park and topped up our food supplies as well as taking a mining tour.
Mount Nameless dominates to backdrop of this side of town but the walking path was officially closed due to storm damage so we walked only a part of the way up to get a view of sorts, as the main image shows.
Rio Tinto Mine Tour:
Having been unable to do a mine tour at Newman (as it has been discontinued for the present), we signed up for the tour here which was a great morning out; Click the image for the full photo gallery:
