The Tuart, Eucalyptus gomphocephala, is a Eucalypt that grows on coastal limestone only in a 200km radius North and South of Perth and can reach heights of 40m with a crown up to 25m across. These stands, North of Busselton are the last surviving Tuart forests and have driving and walking opportunities. The circular route we attempted, logged by a previous AllTrails user, was overgrown with Calla Lillies so we completed an out-and-back walk of 4km in the end, rewarded with a few Fungi specimens.
