Today we tackled the “Bart Mailey Memorial Wildflower Walk” starting and finishing at the Caravan Park the actual walk starts at the edge of town about 1km away, our total loop was 6.82km. Bart was the owner of what was Coorows’ only Rural merchandise store and a founder of the Community Farm.
As well as the spectacular display of wildflowers the beginning of the loop around the Farm offer views back to town like this one across the Canola crop:
