The town of Walgett is encircled by a Levee Bank to protect it as far as possible from the Namoi River in times of flood; we walked the whole length, about 9km and then strolled around the cemetery and to the Water Tower with a giant mural of Country singer Jimmy Little, a local who is buried in the cemetery here.
