During our stay in Bowen we tackled the local walks of which there are several. Across the bay from the Caravan Park is Grays Bay and starting from there a 5km walk took us to Horseshoe Bay, up to the Rotary Lookout down to Murray Bay and back over the hill to Horsehoe Bay for a Fish and Chip Lunch.
The view from Grays Bay is back towards Queens Beach and to the mountains behind in the North West
