March 18-25
After the week at Miami, we still needed to kill some time waiting for Keith’s medical appointment and decided to go to the north of Brisbane and spend a week at a Showgournd we hadn’t visited at Woodford.
It had rained the previous week and the ground was drying as we arrive, however it was short-lived and much of our week was spent inside as the water grew higher across the grassed area
A feature of Woodford unknown to us was the Australian Narrow-gauge Railway Society, based here just off the highway with a selection of rolling stock and short length of track; we found one mostly fine half day to visit and take the ride out and back before lunching at a local cafe.
