Woolshed Falls are a short drive from Beechworth and occur where Spring Creek from town has flowed into Reedy Creek and then drops to the valley below. Not a long drop fall but very picturesque and would be quite spectacular after heavy rain.
Despite it being midwinter this was a popular place with a lot of people around so we had to wait to get a few clearer images without all the tourists in them!
The couple of signs pictured tell some of the story here; the Mining Race is between the Spring Creek/Reedy Creek merge and the top of the falls area.
