Gunnedah provided us with a river side camp ground which appears to be taken out of use judging by new signs erected while we were there which basically ban vehicles and camping.
Note from 2018 – it appears camping space has been provided at the other side of the road.
Apparently this (Cohen Reserve) has been very popular in the Winter season for many years but is not listed in most camping guides. Gunnedah was another chance to top up on everything before moving on to camp out of Tamworth at Cockburn River (Next Post)
