After the flooding earlier this year, the Darling has returned to its best levels in a long time and the birdlife has returned. As we saw at Lake Pamamaroo there is a wide variety. Immediately below us a huge flock of ducks were coming and going for two days and the water hens were almost as abundant on both sides of the river.
