Only a few kilometres from Chudleigh (or Mole Creek) is the Alum Cliffs Reserve and this wonderful Gorge carved out by the Mersey River. A walk of about 800m takes you to a two tier lookout platform with these views of the Gorge and surrounds. On the way are a few interpretative signs and items of interest like the tiny Native Cherry, a favourite food for the indigenous people and just coming into fruit now.
