Leaving Camooweal due to the high winds we first filled up on fuel and water and emptied the toilet tank at the local Dump Point, right alongside the highway.
Crossing the NT border we stopped briefly (Above) and then drove to the first Rest Area at Avon Downs where there is also the first Police Station inside the NT.
