After losing a week in Winton we thought we wouldn’t make it for Laura’s delivery on Friday but she didn’t go in until Saturday and we arrived Friday lunchtime.
The Jackaroo problem was indeed a failed Fuel Injector (new in September last!) so after it being fitted Tuesday and finished Wednesday we finally left about 10.45am. Proceeding via Longreach and Barcaldine we refuelled at Blackall and overnighted at Tambo North rest area. Next day (Thursday) on via Augathella, refuel at Morven and Lunch at Roma to overnight at Warra (45km West of Dalby) – a marathon 634km for the day!
That only left about 280km for the final run via yarraman,Kilcoy and Caboolture to Laura’s at Deception Bay.
