From Bluff Rock we continued down the New England Highway a further 50km to the rest Area at the small town of Bendemeer, just 40km North of Tamworth. The river this time is hardly flowng and has apparently been almost dry this Summer compared with last year when we stopped here.
The Rest Area here has toilets and a couple of water taps if needed as well as rubbish bins and lots of grassy space. The only downside is highway noise but that has never bothered us or stopped a good night’s sleep! Tomorrow on to the Warrumbungles.
