Above: the view from the top towards North Bruny with the Tasman Peninsula in the distance.

The main walk from Adventure Bay is the Fluted Cape walk, about 6km in all; a shorter (out and back) walk allows you to just visit Grass Point at the end, looking out to Penguin Island, seen by us on the return loop as we decided on going anti clockwise.
The walk starts from a carpark area at the end of the road and traverses the beach before heading into the bush. The first km takes in this part and then you start to climb for another km to a height approaching 300m and emerge with a sudden and instant view from the cliff top. The picture gallery below tells the story. .and yes we did get wet on the final leg!
