Glen Rock State Forest lies around 45km South of Gatton at the foothills of the range; if the road continued Southward you would emerge at Cunninghams Gap on the Cunningham Highway. Managed by National parks the campground has fairly new composting toilets, cold showers and non potable water. There is ample space in two areas and it is all flat with well tended grass and shrubbery.
This view is looking across the valley from a lookout walk accessed by crossing the creek.

The photo gallery tells the story including many species of spiders who were all in the breeding season, plus a variety of butterflies.
